چکیده

Priced timed games are two-player zero-sum games played on priced timed automata (whose locations and transitions are labeled by weights modeling the costs of spending time in a state and executing an action, respectively). The goals of the players are to minimise and maximise the cost to reach a target location, respectively. We consider priced timed games with one clock and arbitrary (positive and negative) weights and show that, for an important subclass of theirs (the so-called simple priced timed games), one can compute, in exponential time, the optimal values that the players can achieve, with their associated optimal strategies. As side results, we also show that one-clock priced timed games are determined and that we can use our result on simple priced timed games to solve the more general class of so-called reset-acyclic priced timed games (with arbitrary weights and one-clock). 1998 ACM Subject Classification D.2.4 Software/Program Verification, F.3.1 Specifying and Verifying and Reasoning about Programs

Revisiting Robustness in Priced Timed Games

Priced timed games are optimal-cost reachability games played between two players—the controller and the environment—by moving a token along the edges of infinite graphs of configurations of priced timed automata. The goal of the controller is to reach a given set of target locations as cheaply as possible, while the goal of the environment is the opposite. Priced timed games are known to be un...

A Faster Algorithm for Solving One-Clock Priced Timed Games

One-clock priced timed games is a class of two-player, zero-sum, continuous-time games that was defined and thoroughly studied in previous works. We show that one-clock priced timed games can be solved in time m12n, where n is the number of states and m is the number of actions. The best previously known time bound for solving one-clock priced timed games was 2 2+m), due to Rutkowski. For our i...

One Clock Priced Timed Automata: Model Checking and Optimal Strategies

In this paper, we consider priced (or weighted) timed automata, and prove various decidability results when the automaton has only one clock: we prove that model checking of WCTL is decidable and that optimal costs in priced timed games are computable. In contrast, it has recently been proved that these problems are undecidable for this model as soon as the system has three clocks.

Quantitative Games on Probabilistic Timed Automata

Two-player zero-sum games are a well-established model for synthesising controllers that optimise some performance criterion. In such games one player represents the controller, while the other describes the (adversarial) environment, and controller synthesis corresponds to computing the optimal strategies of the controller for a given criterion. Asarin and Maler initiated the study of quantita...

Almost Optimal Strategies in One Clock Priced Timed Games

We consider timed games extended with cost information, and prove computability of the optimal cost and of ε-optimal memoryless strategies in timed games with one clock. In contrast, this problem has recently been proved undecidable for timed games with three clocks.
